The Hiwatt DR504 Combo 2x12 Fane F75 incorporates all the British brand's sonic heritage in a practical, powerful format. Based on the famous DR504 circuit designed by Dave Reeves in the late 60s, this 50-watt all-tube combo retains the precision and dynamic reserve that have marked generations of musicians. Its point-by-point design, faithful to Harry Joyce's expertise, guarantees exemplary build quality and sound reproduction of rare transparency.

One of the strengths of this model lies in its two 12-inch Fane F75 speakers, specially developed for Hiwatt amplifiers. Their role is decisive: they provide clear definition in the midrange, a clean attack and precise highs, without ever becoming aggressive. Their power of 75 watts each ensures ample, balanced projection, ideal for taking advantage of the amp's harmonic richness, both in the studio and in live configuration.

With its 50 watts of power, the DR504 Combo lets you explore a wide range of sounds. The channels can be bridged to combine an elegant, defined clean with a natural crunch with typically British grain. This versatility makes it suitable for a wide range of styles and instruments: electric guitar, bass, keyboards or even amplified acoustic instruments. The combo is also an excellent platform for pedals, faithfully respecting their nuances without the need for effects loops.

The Hiwatt DR504 Combo 2x12 Fane F75 is not just a practical variation on a classic: it's an amp that retains all the sonic elegance of the DR103, but in a more accessible format. Combined with the two Fane F75s, it's a real reference point for guitarists looking to position themselves in the mix with clarity and presence.

Dave Reeves was a British engineer and the founder of Hiwatt, a famous brand of amplifiers for guitar and bass. After working for Sound City and Mullard, in the 1960s he created his own models, designed to be robust, reliable and deliver a clear sound even at high volume. His amps quickly won over legendary bands such as The Who, Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin, helping to define rock's famous "British sound". Although he died in 1981, his influence lives on and Hiwatt amplifiers are still built according to his principles.
