Bass Combo
The Hiwatt Leeds Go 40C acoustic guitar amp features a three-band equalizer that sculpts a sound with plenty of bite. Percussive strikes slam, and the wood's vibrations remain vibrant. Light under the arm, it goes everywhere, from rehearsals to small performances. A chorus or a delay? That would have spiced things up. The spring reverb sets the scene. Deep, organic, and full of character. This amp gets the job done with real punch!

Presentation
The Hiwatt Leeds Go 40C has plenty of power for an acoustic amp. With a piezo, it projects clear and crisp audio. A magnetic pickup provides more roundness, but less detail.
The microphone input does the job for backup vocals. It's no miracle against a PA, but for an intimate set, it's perfect. The voice remains intelligible without drowning out the guitar.
Its 8" speaker surprises with its depth. In fingerstyle, each note stands out clearly. For percussive playing, the attack remains well defined.
Bluetooth adds another string to its bow. It's great for playing over backing tracks. Not essential, but well thought out!
Its spring reverb provides a nice density. It colors the tone without overwhelming it. A treat for soaring picking!
At low volume, it maintains nice dynamics. Pushing it hard makes it more bitey, without losing clarity. It delivers excellent rehearsal results.
A keyboard or electric guitar cuts through without a hitch. Less fullness than with a dedicated amp, but the sound remains clean.
No external speaker output, but 40W is plenty. For a studio or a small stage, it's more than enough.
Lightweight, compact, and versatile, the Leeds Go 40C knows how to make itself heard!
