Presentation
Hiwatt's Park P18LR 'Little Rock' recaptures the spirit of the great British amps of the 70s, but in a format designed for today's musicians. With its 18 watts, it's aimed above all at those who want to enjoy authentic grain without having to push the volume to unbearable levels. Whether in the studio, at home or on small stages, it offers an immersive and lively playing experience, with a sound that breathes and reacts to the dynamics of each note.
This model incorporates an Auto Bias function that makes it easy to change power tubes without any technical adjustments. You can switch from the 6V6 for a softer sound, to the 6L6 for wider bass, or stick with the classic EL34 for a typically British midrange. This flexibility means you can adapt the amp's personality to suit your tastes or the style of music you play, without any constraints.
The P18LR retains two channels and four inputs, just like the historic models from which it takes its inspiration. You can use them separately, mix them together, or activate the cascade mode for extra gain. A 'Punch' switch accentuates the midrange, helping the guitar to stand out in a mix or stand out in a band situation.
Thanks to PrePIMV, volume control is manageable at low levels, without sacrificing sonic texture and character. This means that even at low power, you can enjoy rich, organic saturation, ideal for working on your playing without losing the pleasure of the tube.
This model shares the same size transformers as its big Park brothers, guaranteeing solid bass and faithful resonance. Its compact size and reasonable weight make it easy to carry, whether for rehearsing, recording or performing in small venues.

Jim Marshall is best known for running a shop where local musicians could meet, swap and try out equipment. He sold his amps worldwide under the Marshall brand, but in the UK he used the name Park Amplifiers. The shop served as a valuable testing ground for new products and kept Jim in touch with the exploding UK music scene. Park amps, often described as 'a bit hotter', are highly sought after in the UK as they are much rarer than their Marshall-branded equivalents.
Mitch Colby has devoted his life to working with Marshall Amplification and has spent a dozen years perfecting the Park range. He has taken the best existing circuits and carefully recreated the original sounds and tonal signature of Jim's early days. In addition, Mitch has designed four new amplifiers to carry on the spirit and incredible legacy of Jim Marshall and the Park Amplifiers.
