The choice of cabinet directly influences the sonic personality of an amp, and Park's SA-212 is a perfect illustration of this idea. Inheriting the brand's historic dimensions and manufacturing methods, this model uses the classic 2x12" configuration with a sloping front panel, known as 'A Style', to deliver a natural, immersive sound.

In this version, the baffle is equipped with 2 Celestion Greenback™ 25-12. Each driver develops 25 W, for a total power of 50 W at 8 Ω. This is the original combination, the one that left its mark on generations of guitarists, particularly in the British rock of the 60s and 70s. The Greenbacks provide a full-bodied midrange, a nervous attack and trebles that open up with character, giving that inimitable sonic signature that has shaped the history of amplified guitar.

The body itself is more than just a support: designed to resonate in the 'right way', it plays a full part in the overall timbre. Musicians will find a unique blend of precision and warmth that enhances both detailed clean tones and vintage saturations full of personality.

With its 2x12" Greenback and construction inspired by the original models, the Park SA-212 offers an authentic experience for those seeking the classic grain and dynamics of vintage baffles. It's as much a piece for those nostalgic for vintage sound as for modern guitarists keen to rediscover that mythical sound colour.

Jim Marshall first made a name for himself with his shop, a place where local musicians could meet, swap and try out equipment. Internationally, he sold his amps under the Marshall brand, but in the UK he used the name Park Amplifiers. It was here that he was able to experiment and keep in direct contact with the burgeoning British music scene. Often described as "a bit edgier", Park amps became highly sought-after in the UK, as they were much rarer than their Marshall-badged equivalents.

Mitch Colby has devoted his career to Marshall Amplification, and for over ten years he has been working to perfect the Park range. He has taken the best circuits and applied himself to precisely recreating the sounds and sonic universe of the first models designed by Jim. At the same time, Mitch has designed four new amplifiers to continue the spirit and exceptional heritage of Jim Marshall and Park Amplifiers.
