The Hiwatt SE810F is a cabinet designed for bassists looking for powerful, accurate reproduction, even in the most demanding situations.
Designed in the Hiwatt Custom Shop in England, it uses the same dimensions, materials and rigorous manufacturing that have made the brand's reputation since 1966.
With its 8 x 10" configuration, it displaces an impressive volume of air, offering a stage presence that few cabs can match.
At the heart of this loudspeaker are eight Fane Sovereign 300-10 drivers, specially developed for Hiwatt. Each 300 W driver is hand-wired, guaranteeing perfect tolerance and exemplary sonic homogeneity.
As a result, the SE810F delivers a total power output of 2400 W, with a consistently clean response, firm bass and preserved articulation at any volume.
The adjustable impedance (4, 8 or 16 Ω) and comprehensive connection panel offer great flexibility, including the possibility of using the cabinet in two independent 4x10" sections or in a bi-amp configuration.
Acoustic design isn't just about raw power. The 18mm multi-ply birch cabinet, reinforced at nine strategic points, prevents unwanted vibration and maximises sound projection.
The drivers are positioned lower in the cabinet to accentuate low-frequency response. Every detail, from the cabling to the rear vents, has been designed to faithfully reproduce the character of your amp without altering the definition or 'blurring' the grain of the playing.
The SE810F features the classic Hiwatt baffle design: black tolex, traditional Traffolyte badge and hand-riveted serial plate.
Already adopted on stage by world-renowned artists such as Roger Waters, this cab embodies both the sonic heritage and durability that are the hallmarks of the Hiwatt legend.

To find out more...
Dave Reeves was a British engineer and the founder of Hiwatt, a famous brand of amplifiers for guitar and bass. After working for Sound City and Mullard, in the 1960s he created his own models, designed to be robust, reliable and deliver a clear sound even at high volume. His amps quickly won over legendary bands such as The Who, Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin, helping to define rock's famous "British sound". Although he died in 1981, his influence lives on and Hiwatt amplifiers are still built according to his principles.
