Presentation
The Hiwatt Studio/Stage 20/40 Combo 2x12 Fane F75 is a game-changer for guitarists looking for powerful, accurate Hiwatt sound in a handy combo format. What's immediately striking are the two 75W Fane F75 speakers, tailor-made to reproduce the unique character of Hiwatt amps. Together, they provide wider projection and exceptional articulation, allowing the sound to fill the room without losing any of its finesse.
With power selectable between 20 W and 40 W, this combo is suitable for all situations: small-group rehearsals, studio sessions or concerts on small stages. The push/pull potentiometer triggers an instant gain boost, while the Hi and Low inputs adjust the output to suit the mics and playing style. The Bright switch adds extra harmonics, giving more air and clarity to complex chords.
The combo features a long, deep True-Spring reverb and a three-band EQ for effortless sound sculpting. The tubes provide a natural, responsive saturation that responds to the guitarist's touch and brings out the personality of each instrument. The pedals fit in perfectly, as the circuit retains all the transparency and dynamics of the signal.
Handcrafted in England at the Hiwatt Custom workshops, the Studio/Stage 20/40 2x12 benefits from Harry Joyce's military-standard point-to-point wiring and original English Partridge™ transformers.

To find out more...
Dave Reeves was a British engineer and the founder of Hiwatt, a famous brand of amplifiers for guitar and bass. After working for Sound City and Mullard, in the 1960s he created his own models, designed to be robust, reliable and deliver a clear sound even at high volume. His amps quickly won over legendary bands such as The Who, Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin, helping to define rock's famous "British sound". Although he died in 1981, his influence lives on and Hiwatt amplifiers are still built according to his principles.
