ConTour The Array is a flexible mini line array system intended for use in hanging or floor. It consists of a powered subwoofer (CTA118S) connected to a medium / treble speaker (CTA208) amplified by the sub. A digital controller (DDO-Pro) is built into the subwoofer. Various memory configurations stored there and allow coupling with another subwoofer enclosure of the Contour range: CT108, CT112, CT115. To minimize the time required for system setup, networking subwoofers is possible. Thus, it will be enough to act on one of the controllers of subs to change the settings of the entire system. The data will be automatically transmitted to the network.
A little history ...

There are beautiful family histories and the two brothers Stamer, Hans and Lothar is. For when Lothar Stamer (sound engineer) opened his first workshop design and manufacture of vessels (Stamer Muskanlagen Company) in southern Germany in 1979, he surely not imagine that it reserves the future.
Obviously, at first, and considering how modest and / engaged to start this adventure, the brothers do not try to impose a new brand in the world of sound systems already congested. They simply design a high-end hardware outsourcing for the leading brands of the moment.
But everything is known in the small world of music and their reputation is soon to be established throughout Europe and internationally. Leading naturally to deliver the best production under their own label. Then they move to St. Wendel.

In fact, to be made precise, that is in 1988 they develop the Light Line series, very light speakers that they create for the first time a brand they will market to the general public, a brand well known guitarists, Hugues and Kettner. And, for the record, know that if Stamer brothers chose a similar name, is that they had an easy name to pronounce in all languages!

With this adventure, they create the following year the PS1 Audio System, the first product to be distributed to musicians under the brand HK Audio.
The plant is enlarged for the occasion. Success is again at the rendezvous; in 1990, their products are sold in no less than 14 countries around the world. And the building is following a new plant and a larger storage unit.

It is time to bring order in product lines and it was therefore decided in 1994 to market all products under the name PA HK Audio amps and guitars and basses under the Hughes and Kettner brand. That same year they market LUCAS, an ultra-light full sound and easy to carry.
In 2005, HK Audio moved into a 16,000 m² factory to produce between 6 and 8000 pregnant a month, with some 200 employees.
Today the products sold in over 50 countries.
