100V Public Address Speaker
The HPA RCS-520T is a 5-inch coaxial ceiling-mounted loudspeaker designed for integrated audio installations in 100 V, 70 V or 8-ohm low-impedance systems. Its fibreglass driver, combined with a 1-inch tweeter, ensures a wide 120° dispersion, making it suitable for both background music and voice announcements. Supplied with two magnetic grilles – one white and one black – it blends easily into a variety of architectural settings.

Presentation
The HPA RCS-520T offers a versatile solution for integrated sound system projects requiring discreet sound reproduction, wide coverage and multiple operating modes. Recessed into a suspended ceiling, it keeps walls clear and preserves the visual clarity of spaces whilst ensuring the playback of background music, multimedia content or voice announcements.
Its acoustic design is based on a 5-inch fibreglass coaxial driver, complemented by a 1-inch tweeter. This two-way design aligns the transducers along a single dispersion axis. It thus promotes consistent coverage across the sound spectrum and meets the needs of installations where speech intelligibility must coexist with balanced music reproduction. The frequency response ranges from 80 Hz to 20 kHz.
The 120° conical dispersion pattern is a key feature of the RCS-520T. This wide dispersion allows it to cover a large area from the ceiling. In a multi-speaker system, it facilitates the creation of a uniform sound field and minimises excessive level variations as listeners move around the space.
The RCS-520T is compatible with a range of amplification configurations. Its built-in transformer allows for use in a 100 V line with selectable power ratings of 5, 10 or 20 W. In 70 V distribution, the available power ratings are 2.5, 5 or 10 W. This operating mode is suitable for networks comprising multiple broadcast points and for installations covering different zones.
For a low-impedance configuration, the loudspeaker can also operate at 8 ohms with a power output of 40 W. This dual approach allows the same model to be integrated into both a distributed installation and a compatible conventional audio system.
Its ABS housing facilitates its integration into fixed installations. The flush-mounted design ensures a low visual profile, whilst the magnetic grilles simplify the finishing touches to the installation. HPA supplies two interchangeable grilles as standard, one white and one black. The speaker can therefore blend in with a light-coloured ceiling, dark architecture, a contemporary retail outlet or a public space without imposing a single finish colour.
The HPA RCS-520T is particularly suitable for retail outlets, restaurants, hotels, offices, meeting rooms, reception areas, educational establishments and professional multi-room systems. Its combination of coaxial sound dispersion, 120° coverage and operation at 100 V, 70 V or 8 ohms makes it a solution that can be adapted to a wide range of integration specifications.
