This model features a roasted S-TECH WOOD maple neck with an oval "C" profile, which has been specially treated to provide increased stability and durability, while improving resistance to humidity and temperature variations.

The alder body helps deliver a balanced tone with warm mids and clear highs, while the roasted S-TECH maple fingerboard is equipped with 24 stainless steel frets, renowned for their corrosion resistance and long life. These jumbo frets, combined with the Prestige edge treatment, allow for precise articulation of notes and chords, while ensuring a quick response for solos.

Seymour Duncan Hyperion pickups are at the heart of the AZ2402-TFF's tone. They are paired with the dyna-MIX10 switching system, which provides ten distinct tonal variations, with a mini-switch to switch between humbucker and single-coil modes.

Power Tap mode also simulates the single-coil sound while using the humbucker configuration.

The Gotoh T1802 tremolo bridge, with its titanium saddles and machined steel tremolo block, ensures a fast response with powerful lows and rich highs. The 10.5mm string spacing facilitates fast multi-string playing, and the Gotoh Magnum Lock system with H.A.P. ensures excellent tuning stability, allowing precise adjustment of string tension.
