Ibanez - IV2RG Visions RG

The Ibanez IV2RG Visions RG continues the tradition of instruments designed to offer immediate response, impeccable stability and consistent playing comfort throughout the entire length of the neck. Its neck-through construction is based on a Super Wizard neck made from maple and purpleheart, an architecture that combines rigidity and sustain with excellent continuity of sound between neck and body. The slim profile of the neck, combined with the generous radius of the ebony fingerboard, makes for fluid, fast, stress-free playing, particularly appreciated in technically demanding styles.

The body combines a 4mm Burl Maple top with a Black Limba body, a duo that balances precise attack and warm resonance. This combination provides definition in the lows, presence in the mids and a clear response in the highs, while retaining a rich, balanced tonal identity. The jumbo stainless steel frets, treated with Custom Shop Fret Edge Treatment, ensure a very smooth feel under the fingers and increased durability, even under heavy use.

As for the electronics, the IV2RG features DiMarzio's fully passive H-S-H configuration. The Air Norton in the neck position delivers deep, round tones, the True Velvet in the centre provides clarity and articulation, while the Tone Zone in the bridge offers power and dynamics for rhythm and solos. The Lo-Pro Edge vibrato completes the package, offering great tuning stability and renowned playing comfort, enhanced by a locking saddle and Gotoh tuning machines. Supplied in a hard case, the IV2RG is a serious instrument, designed for both stage and studio.
