JBL Pro - PRX925
JBL Professional PRX925 JBL Professional PRX925: a 2-way active loudspeaker designed to project sound far, far away. Its two 15" drivers and compression tweeter deliver up to 2,000 W peak power, driven by a 12-band DSP and the JBL Pro Connect app – fanless and free from background noise.
Presentation
The trapezoidal 18 mm birch cabinet features two side handles and a 36 mm stand socket, ready for eight M10 suspension points on elevated stages. The FEA flared port reduces internal airflow, and JBL Image Control waveguides shape the sound’s trajectory.
Built on DriveRack technology, automatic feedback suppression cuts out whistling before it takes hold, whilst a 12-band parametric equaliser DSP adjusts the sound character to suit the venue and an integrated system limiter protects the entire setup. A colour LCD screen displays the settings in real time, and the JBL Pro Connect app controls up to ten compatible systems (including the EON ONE MK2, PRX ONE and EON700) via Bluetooth, with system latency under 1 ms.
On the rear panel, two balanced XLR/jack combo inputs and a mini-jack auxiliary input accommodate a microphone, mixing desk or smartphone, whilst two pass-through XLR outputs connect the speaker to a subwoofer for enhanced bass response. Weighing 37.3 kg and featuring fanless natural convection cooling, the PRX925 operates silently, from portable PA set-ups to large venues, and comes with a 7-year warranty.
