Presentation
The JBL Professional Pro SoundBar PSB-2 delivers crystal-clear sound in hotel rooms, cruise ship cabins, meeting rooms and classrooms. Its frequency response of 62 Hz to 20 kHz (-10 dB), narrowed to 100 Hz–20 kHz within ±3 dB, keeps voices clear. The maximum SPL of 101 dB-SPL at 1 m is suitable for both a bustling room and a quiet suite.
Two 19 mm soft-dome tweeters and four 51 mm low-frequency drivers – one and two per channel respectively – form a 2.0 stereo configuration without a separate subwoofer, amplified at 20 W per channel in Class D. The acoustic design projects sound out into the room, away from the wall on which it is mounted.
An HDMI 2.1 input and an ARC-compatible HDMI 2.1 output connect the soundbar to the TV, with CEC functionality to control power, mute and volume via the remote control. Bluetooth 5.3 (2400–2483.5 MHz) handles pairing automatically, with a customisable identifier for hotel fleets. A single button on the front panel switches between HDMI and Bluetooth, and the volume follows the TV remote control as well as the connected Bluetooth device. The input sensitivity of –8 dBFS for 93 dB-SPL at 1 m maintains the level without manual adjustment, and the two-position volume limiter protects neighbouring rooms at night.
The injection-moulded ABS and PC casing, in a black finish, withstands daily cleaning thanks to non-absorbent materials that are easy to wipe clean. A locking plate conceals the service port. Supplied with two mounting brackets for wall or table installation, the soundbar stays securely in place. Standby power consumption is less than 0.5 W when no HDMI is connected and less than 2 W with an HDMI port connected, when powered by a 100–240 V, 50/60 Hz mains supply.
