The Jackson Legend Randy Rhoads CD1 electric guitar combines an iconic CD body shape with a configuration designed for versatile playing. Its graphite-reinforced maple set neck ensures stability, whilst the Seymour Duncan JB and '59 pickups deliver tones suited to a wide range of playing styles. Complemented by a synchronised vibrato, gold-coloured hardware and a case included, this limited edition asserts its distinctive visual identity.
Presentation
The three-piece maple through-body construction with graphite reinforcements contributes to the instrument’s stability, whilst the ebony fingerboard, featuring a compound radius of 12" to 16", is equally suited to chords and more technical passages. The 22 jumbo frets offer a comfortable grip suited to a variety of playing styles.
In terms of tone, the combination of a Seymour Duncan JB SH-4 pickup at the bridge and a ‘59 SH-1N at the neck allows the player to explore a wide range of tones. The three-way selector switch and volume and tone controls make it easy to tailor the sound to the guitarist’s needs.
The Jackson 6-Saddle Vintage Synchronised Tremolo completes the package, offering additional expressive possibilities. The Jackson locking tuners contribute to the guitar’s everyday playability. Supplied with its Jackson CD1 Foam Core Case, this Legend Randy Rhoads CD1 is ready to accompany the instrument on the move and provide secure storage.
