JBL - BandBox Trio

Designed for artists who want to practise, rehearse or perform without having to use lots of different pieces of kit, the JBL BandBox Trio combines the functions of an amplified speaker, effects processor, mixer, audio interface and music production tool all in a single device. Its compact design conceals a remarkably comprehensive platform capable of meeting the needs of both solo musicians and small bands.

At the heart of its features lies Stem AI technology, developed to isolate different elements of a track in real time. Simply by playing a song via Bluetooth or USB, the BandBox Trio can separate the vocals, guitar or drums, allowing the musician to practise a specific part, play along to a track or create a more immersive rehearsal experience. This technology transforms every track into an interactive learning tool and opens up new possibilities for music education.

The guitar section also features a wide range of amp models and built-in effects. Users can access sounds ranging from vintage amps to modern high-gain tones, complemented by essential effects such as reverb, chorus, phaser and delay. All settings can be adjusted directly on the device or via the JBL One app.

The BandBox Trio also stands out thanks to its genuine built-in 4-channel mixer. Guitars, microphones, keyboards or electronic drums can be connected simultaneously to create a self-contained rehearsal system. The large colour LCD screen makes it easy to navigate between the various settings, even in dimly lit environments.

To support musicians in their day-to-day practice, JBL has also included a comprehensive set of practice tools, comprising a tuner, metronome, looper, drum machine, key changer and pitch shifter. These functions allow you to practise songs effectively in different keys without having to change the tuning of your instruments.

The sound quality is delivered by a 6.5-inch woofer paired with two silk-dome tweeters, powered by 135 W RMS of amplification. The result is a powerful, precise and balanced sound, suitable for rehearsals as well as small gigs or collaborative sessions.

With its rechargeable battery offering up to 10 hours’ battery life, Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity, a USB-C audio interface and a comprehensive control app, the JBL BandBox Trio becomes a true portable studio designed to accompany musicians wherever inspiration strikes.
