The Klotz 3XM1S1N lets the signal pass through without altering it. The 60 pF/m capacitance of the MY206 cable limits high-frequency loss over 25 metres - in other words, presence and sibilance arrive at the console in the same state as the microphone picked them up. It is this parameter, rarely highlighted, that distinguishes a transparent microphone cable from one that subtly attenuates the high end of the spectrum.
Neutrik 3-pin XLR connectors with silver-plated contacts on a nickel metal shell ensure stable conductivity over repeated connections. The silver does not oxidise on the contact surface, while the nickel protects the shell without adding parasitic resistance. The black code ring enables rapid identification for multi-stage cabling. The copper spiral shield attenuates electromagnetic interference without stiffening the cable - the special soft PVC jacket retains its flexibility on stage even after hundreds of windings.
Over 25 metres, the 3XM1S1N covers long-distance stage links - stage return to FOH, connections in fixed studio installations. The heat-shrink tubing protects the cable-connector joints. The PE bag packaging keeps the connectors clean between uses.
