Fleeing the torments of the Second World War, a 10-year-old boy escaped from Dresden, travelling by night and finding refuge with his cousin, I Hemmeler, in Switzerland.
Years later, he had become a trumpeter and was playing regularly as a soloist. It was after attending one of his concerts that I Hemmeler, surprised to see him sweating, explained that it was the fear of a piston jamming. On this impulse, and working for the Schachen Ltd chemical factory, a manufacturer of lubricants and polishing products for industry, she developed a range of products dedicated to musicians, under the names "La Tromba" and "Record".
