LAG - SAUVAGE-FBCE Basse électro-acoustique Fretless

Lâg SAUVAGE-FBCE places fretless playing at the heart of an electro-acoustic bass. The Jumbo body shape, cutaway and 32.36" (822 mm) scale length provide the foundation, with 4 strings and 0 frets.

The smoked eucalyptus body, with its satin finish and arched back in a sawn-off finish, defines its character. The Pale Brankowood top, resulting from a light treatment somewhere between spruce and mahogany, complements the smoked eucalyptus back and sides. The Brankowood is sourced from sustainably managed pine, as part of the GREEN GUITARS range.

The Khaya neck features a Black Brankowood fingerboard, a radius of 13.78" (350 mm) and a 42 mm nut made from black graphite. The two-way truss rod facilitates adjustments, whilst the oil-bathed tuning machines complete the hardware. The Black Brankowood headstock, reminiscent of ebony, extends this visual identity.

Its tone aims to replicate that of a double bass. The Nickel Chrome Flatwound strings (45-63-78-101) give the fretless playing a more muted attack, with a range suitable for amplified acoustic playing, rehearsals or live performances.

The STAGE LÂG electronics combine a STAGE LÂG preamp with dedicated controls and a built-in tuner with a piezo pickup. The system supports amplification whilst retaining its acoustic character. The natural wood finish complements the materials used, and the padded gig bag is ideal for transport.
