Presentation
The DAVE12's bass reflex subwoofer, equipped with a 12" woofer, and its satellites incorporating a 165 mm woofer/midrange and a horn-loaded tweeter provide present and well-defined bass, natural midrange and precise treble: in other words, excellent sound reproduction quality. The subwoofer cabinet integrates a 2.1 amplifier module (peak power: 2000 W), powering the three parts of the DAVE 12 G3 system.
The soul of the DAVE 12 G3 system is the digital signal processing applied via the LD LECC DSP, which controls all the important functions of the system. This DSP ensures, without latency, the functions of linear phase crossover, equalizer and separate limiter for the three registers (bass, midrange, treble), and applies dynamic compression-equalization, ensuring a constant subjective balance between the subwoofer and the satellites, even at low volume: the sound always remains balanced and here.

The components of the DAVE 12 G3 active PA system feature robust plywood cabinets, all the important protection circuits, combo connectors (XLR/Jack), RCA and speakON compatible, and ergonomic handles: all professional-class features. Another important innovation is the LD "Evolutive" handles on the subwoofer, which are remarkable for their metal surround, allowing easy and safe handling from all sides. The tripod base of the satellites allows precise vertical orientation, over ±13.5°, in seven steps.
To facilitate transport, protective covers for the various speakers and a trolley with safety strap are available as an option. Not to mention the speaker stands, spacer bar and specific fork.
