Equipped with a woofer 6.5 "(165 mm) and a 1" tweeter (25mm), the Stinger MIX 6 G2 is a passive full-range speaker specifically designed to work in slave of a powered speaker Stinger A MIX 6 G2. It is then fed through one channel of the power amplifier 2 x 280 Watts peak integrated MIX 6 A, working in class D.
The Stinger MIX 6 G2 complete perfectly the active speaker Stinger A MIX 6 G2 with integrated mixer in small PA and stage monitoring applications, it is also used as passive pregnant, by feeding with an external amplifier.

C'est une enceinte passive qui marche bien avec l'enceinte active+mixer qui lui est dédiée. Pour mon usage(à la maison d'abord, éventuellement petit concert)cet ensemble a un bon rendu (avec ce qu'il faut de traitement du son en amont et ne cherchez pas les grosses basses: DJ's s'abstenir). Comme reproche avant tout: les concepteurs auraient pu se fendre d'une connectique XLR pour relier les deux enceintes et d'une alimentation phantom 48V au lieu de 15V. ON/OFF pas trop bien placé et manquera peut-être une petite prise de main pour les manipuler. C'est quand-même une petite sono sympa faute de comparaison. A voir avec le temps.
