Mac Mah - Blinder 200 LED
The Mac Mah Blinder 200 LED is a next-generation lighting rig that combines two powerful 100 W COB LEDs with a multicoloured RGB ring to create striking lighting effects on stage, in clubs or at DJ sets. It allows you to switch from a warm, cosy white to a sharper, cooler white, whilst adding colourful effects around the main light sources. Its DMX control, music mode and standalone programmes make it equally suitable for one-off use or for integration into a full lighting show.
Presentation
The RGB LED ring adds a second visual layer, offering a more graphic and colourful effect. Each COB light source can operate at two distinct colour temperatures: 2,200 K for a warm white similar to tungsten lighting, and 5,400 K for a cooler, more neutral white. This dual-approach allows the atmosphere to be quickly adapted to a stage design, a live concert or an event production without changing the projector.
The multicoloured ring is based on 0.2 W 5050 RGB LEDs. It complements the two large white light sources with colourful effects, transitions and more decorative animations. The Blinder 200 LED can thus switch between a very direct white effect and a more creative rendering, which is particularly effective on a stage with smoke or light fog.
Control can be via DMX512 across 13 channels, but the unit can also operate without a console. Standalone and music modes allow you to quickly launch an animation, whilst master-slave operation facilitates the synchronisation of multiple units. Finally, the strobe, adjustable up to 20 flashes per second, adds an extra rhythmic dimension to the most energetic sections.
The projector remains compact and lightweight (2.8 kg), making it easy to mount on a truss, transport in a mobile lighting rig and integrate alongside PAR lights, moving heads or beam effect lights. Its 200 W power consumption is well suited to the power available in a mobile lighting set-up.
