Presentation
The Mackie DRM12A is a 2000W 12" line-array active loudspeaker designed for scalable sound reinforcement in large theatres, music halls and outdoor festivals, as well as in clubs, places of worship and rental systems.
The integrated Class D amplifier uses professional-grade shielding and Power Factor Correction (PFC) technology to ensure peak performance, while Advanced Impulse DSP provides acoustic correction and time alignment with finely tuned FIR filters for clear, punchy sound. The DRM control panel features a high-contrast colour display for quick access to equalisation, voice modes and other functions.
A 12-inch professional-quality woofer and three 1-inch compression drivers are housed in the textured-finish 15mm plywood cabinet and, when combined, offer a frequency range of 50Hz to 20kHz (-10dB) with a maximum sound pressure level of 135dB.
The rear panel features a parallel XLR input and output for connecting up to four DRM12A loudspeakers and two DRM18S subwoofers, all of which can be controlled via the optional FB100 control bar.
