Its 12" round cushion is quite firm, perfect for maintaining good posture while playing. It's easy to adjust the height, even if you change your set-up between songs. The tripod is stable, and the glides hold well on the floor, whether it's a tiled or wooden stage.
This seat doesn't take up much space when folded up, and can be slipped into a hardware bag or the shell of an empty bass tom.
