The D18 takes the best of vintage and modern versions. The advanced and scaloppé dam (thus lighter) was adopted (normally reserved for vintage series and high end), providing the best possible response to spruce Sitka. The pickguard vintage with its shell pattern, the table net and the rose are also in the tradition of vintage D18. The body is of course selected solid mahogany. Fingerboard and bridge are ebony but the handle is of modern inspiration with her profile Performing Artist, fast and comfortable. The Nut is slightly wider than the original version and the string spacing is also more comfortable for easier play.
