The D-18 model has been on the market since the mid-1960s.
It has been and remains a flagship model for several generations of musicians, in all styles and all types of music.
Most of the changes that have gradually taken place have helped it to stand the test of time, despite health restrictions on varnishes and the increasing scarcity of top-of-the-range tonewoods, without ever losing the very essence of this timeless model - its tone.
