Presentation
Perhaps the most revered vintage D-28 is the one created in 1937, with its table dam X scallopé, its solid Adirondack spruce top and width of 3/4 inning. This new guitar joined the Authentic series of Martin Guitars, is a recreation of the original 1937 model, which still offers a solid rosewood back and sides in Madagascar.
The new VTS (Vintage Tone System) is used for the table and sides. This is a unique process based on a historical roasting system. This system acts like a machine back in time, it allows Martin Guitars to target a certain period of time and age the guitar until the chosen time. This also works well for aesthetics as for the tone of the instrument, it is art simply!
