This Meinl MPP-12-JB pad with its Jawbreaker design is as comfortable to play as a practice snare drum. Its dense rubber surface gives a realistic feel when you hit it, so it's great for practising the basics! And as well as looking good, the Skull pattern gives you a visual cue to centre your strokes.

The Meinl Jawbreaker MPP-12-JB pad lets you practice with a bounce that comes close to a taut snare drum head. Its 12" diameter provides a comfortable playing surface, perfect for practising fast rudiments or regular double hits.
The foam under the base provides good stability, even on a smooth desk. Mounted on a snare stand, it retains the usual height and tilt of a drum.
It's quiet enough not to be a nuisance in the home, even when you're hitting it hard. Its moderate rigidity helps you work up speed without sacrificing precision. It's easy to carry, slipping into a 12" case.
Drummers often use it to warm up before a gig, as the bounce remains close to that of a kit. The thick base protects the surfaces on which it is placed.
It requires no special maintenance, apart from wiping off drumstick dust.
