The Meinl MSTP pad changes the way you approach drumming. It offers 4 surfaces to work on your techniques: in the centre, the main pad gives a classic sound, while the red zones add a higher tone to vary the exercises. The mute side and anti-rebound rear panel complete the workout, and it comes with a protective cover.

Designed by Anika Nilles, the Meinl Split Tone Pad MSTP is no ordinary training pad. In the centre, the main surface offers a classic bounce so you can work on the basics and precision.
The two red zones on the sides produce a higher-pitched sound, creating contrasts and making it easier to distinguish each hand. By alternating strikes between the centre and these zones, you train your independence and sense of rhythm.
At the top, a softer oval zone acts as a mute section, ideal for isolating a hand and correcting hitting errors. This system of three surfaces encourages you to break out of the traditional patterns of work.
Behind it, a fourth low-rebound surface helps you strengthen your muscles and work on power without noise. This non-slip surface also means you can place the pad on any table without it slipping.
The combination of textures and sounds makes training more stimulating and creative.
Supplied with a carry bag, the pad is easy to transport and stays protected when you're on the move.
