Mipro - 4MR848DANTE

The Mipro 4MR848DANTE module is a solution designed to integrate Dante technology into the brand's HF receivers. Compatible with the ACT 848 receiver, it transforms a conventional receiver into a digital audio gateway over IP.

The use of the Dante protocol is becoming increasingly popular in the professional world thanks to its robustness and flexibility. Here, audio is transmitted digitally over a single Cat 5, 5e or 6 network cable, over a distance of up to 100 metres, without signal degradation or environmental interference. This approach eliminates the losses associated with analogue transmissions, and guarantees audio reproduction identical to the source.

Thanks to packet technology and time-division multiplexing (TDM), a single cable can carry several audio channels simultaneously, greatly simplifying cabling and reducing the risk of installation errors. The system integrates easily into a standard network infrastructure, provided it uses a DHCP-enabled Ethernet switch or is connected to an external DHCP server, such as a Wi-Fi router.

Configuring and monitoring audio streams is made easy by the Dante Controller software, which can be downloaded free of charge from the Audinate website. This tool allows you to quickly assign channels, manage signal distribution and monitor network status in real time. By integrating this module, Mipro receivers become directly usable in a Dante environment, paving the way for more modern, reliable and flexible installations.
