Presentation
The MIPRO AT-100 is a high-performance HF antenna designed for UHF systems operating between 470 and 1000 MHz. Unlike conventional omni-directional or directional models, the AT-100 uses circular polarisation, which considerably reduces polarisation-related signal losses and thus limits drop-outs in difficult conditions, such as in rooms with metal structures or when wireless microphones are moved.
This antenna has two separate TNC connectors, one for TX/RX use and one dedicated to reception only. It also incorporates a booster adjustable from 0 to 12 dB, powered directly via the "RX Only" socket at DC 8 - 15 V, to compensate for the losses associated with long coaxial cables. This design ensures optimum transmission and reception, even when the installation requires longer cables.
With a gain of between 6 and 8 dBi, the AT-100 stands out for its ability to maintain a stable, powerful signal. Its circular format (350 × 225 mm) enables it to focus the coverage area at the front, guaranteeing high efficiency. Its robust construction, combined with a weight of 1.5 kg, makes it a reliable accessory for professional environments such as touring, fixed installations or broadcast configurations.
It can also be used in conjunction with MIPRO splitters, amplifiers and antennas, such as the AD-90A or AD-702, to create a complete, seamless HF chain.
