Presentation
The MIPRO MA-828 PLUS is the direct evolution of the classic MA-828, enriched with a remote DSP control function via a mobile application. This model has been designed for professional users who want to combine the power of a stand-alone loudspeaker with precise, centralised sound management. MIPRO's MA-800 series, spearheaded by this loudspeaker, has been developed to meet the growing need for mobile sound reinforcement, while maintaining compactness, ease of use and impeccable sound quality.
The chassis incorporates two 6-inch drivers combined with a 1-inch tweeter, powered by a Class D / AB amplifier developing up to 290 W RMS (505 W peak). This acoustic architecture ensures wide, homogeneous coverage, perfectly suited to conference rooms, outdoor events, public performances or acoustic concerts.
The special feature of the PLUS version is its DSP digital control module, accessible from a smartphone or tablet. This system makes it possible to fine-tune the sound to the needs of the event using internal presets, without having to resort to complex manual equalisation. Echo, input level and VOP (voice override) settings can be changed in real time, and an audible alarm can even be activated for use in community or school settings.
Like all MIPRO speakers in the MA range, the MA-828 PLUS is modular. It can accommodate up to 4 wireless receivers (UHF, 2.4 GHz or 5.8 GHz) as required, as well as a Bluetooth module and an MP3 recorder via USB or SD card (pre-installed at the factory). The rear panel includes XLR, mini-jack and 6.35 mm jack inputs, with individual control of each source.
One of the speaker's strong points is also its ability to broadcast the signal to other speakers using an optional transmitter module (MTM-91, MTM-24 or MTM-58), forming a wireless multi-point system perfectly suited to outdoor installations, travelling ceremonies or sporting events.
An integrated telescopic handle and sturdy castors make it easy to transport. It can also be mounted on a tripod or placed on a subwoofer thanks to its built-in adapter. Powered by mains or by the MB-38A lithium-ion battery (up to 9 hours of autonomy), it can be adapted to any context, with or without a power supply.
