Mipro - MPB-58

The Mipro MPB-58 is a signal amplifier specially optimised for the 5.8 GHz ISM band. Its mission is simple: to boost the antenna signal to compensate for the inevitable losses of long coaxial cables and ensure stable transmission, even in complex environments. With a fixed gain of around 20 dB, it not only increases the range but also the reliability of HF systems using this frequency range.

Its compact, robust design incorporates an aluminium casing that ensures efficient heat dissipation, essential for maintaining constant performance over long periods of use. Waterproof, it is suitable for installations requiring strength and durability, whether outdoors or indoors.

The MPB-58 can be powered in two ways: either by the bias voltage supplied directly by the receiver's antenna connector, or via an external DC 10 to 24 V power supply. This dual option makes it easy to integrate into different systems, and allows several boosters to be daisy-chained to cover greater distances without signal degradation.

Equipped with TNC inputs and outputs with standard 50 Ω impedance, it integrates easily into professional configurations. This device is essential for Mipro systems operating at 5.8 GHz, particularly in the context of in-ear monitoring or HF links where signal quality is paramount.
