You need to be able to move around, speak, give a presentation or make a contribution without having to constantly worry about the cable connecting you to your system. Its omnidirectional pickup pattern is particularly convenient for everyday use: sound is still picked up even when you move your head slightly or are not facing the capsule directly. And because a presentation can quickly become physically demanding, MIPRO has added a special treatment to protect against moisture and sweat.

Once the voice has been picked up, the ACT-24TC takes over. This pocket-sized transmitter is easy to carry and converts the MU-55L’s signal into a wireless transmission. It remains unobtrusive during a presentation or speech, and its volume and level controls allow you to easily adapt its operation to your needs. ACT synchronisation simplifies communication with the receiver, without you having to spend time fiddling with complicated settings. Its rechargeable lithium-ion battery offers around 12 hours of battery life, which is more than enough to cover a long day’s use. Three LEDs also indicate the remaining battery level, so you can quickly tell when it’s time to recharge.

At the other end, the ACT-2401 receives the signal and sends it to your sound system. Its 2.4 GHz digital operation and 12 preset channels offer flexibility in choosing the right frequency for your setup. Its dual-tuner True Diversity system uses two reception circuits to ensure a stable connection, whilst its latency of less than 4 ms maintains a natural feel between your voice and its broadcast. With its balanced XLR and unbalanced 6.35 mm jack outputs, it can easily be integrated into a variety of audio set-ups. Its graphical OLED display shows all the relevant information on the front panel, and its 9.5-inch half-rack format makes it easy to integrate into a fixed or mobile installation.

The MIPRO MP-8 charging station takes care of that little detail which makes all the difference when a wireless system is used regularly: ensuring you always find your transmitter fully charged. Its 2-in-1 design allows the transmitter to be placed in the dock with ease, whilst the charging indicator shows that charging is in progress. Charging is electronically controlled and features a circuit to protect against reverse polarity. The mains adapter is included, and the station’s compact design means it remains unobtrusive on a desk, in a control room or on a table.
