MusicNomad MN802 Fret Shield is a stainless steel fingerboard protector for polishing frets on 635 mm to 24 fret guitars. It is placed directly on the fingerboard to protect the wood and varnish without masking tape, on narrow to jumbo frets in 6 or 7 strings. A precise, reusable tool for working on frets quickly and cleanly in the workshop.

When it's time to polish the frets, MusicNomad's MN802 Fret Shield immediately sets a calmer mood at the workbench. This stainless steel protector can be fitted in seconds to guitars with a 635 mm scale and 24 frets, such as the PRS, Carvin and Danelectro models. There's no need to cover the fingerboard with tape: the surface remains protected throughout the work, without stress or rushed movements.
Its thin 0.20 mm plate naturally follows the shape of the fingerboard thanks to a tapered design and a discreet elastic system. The slots, calibrated from the first to the last fret, cover both narrow frets and jumbo models, on 6- or 7-string guitars. The stainless steel, with no burrs or sharp edges, respects the wood and varnish with every use.
