The myVolts Ripcord 7-Tip Adapter Set is a set of seven adaptors designed to extend the compatibility of Ripcord USB power cables. In a matter of seconds, it allows you to power a wide range of synthesisers, drum machines, effects pedals, audio interfaces and other devices using different DC power connector formats, without having to change the main cable.

The myVolts Ripcord 7-Tip Adapter Set is the ideal accessory for anyone using myVolts Ripcord USB power cables. Rather than buying several specific cables, this kit includes seven adaptors covering almost all DC power connectors found on electronic instruments, effects pedals, MIDI controllers, synthesisers, drum machines and many other pieces of equipment.
Each adapter connects directly to the Ripcord’s standard 5.5 x 2.1 mm output and converts it to a different plug type. Two models also feature a polarity reverser to support certain devices using a different polarity, whilst another is specifically designed for equipment requiring a 1.4 mm centre pin.
This solution offers great flexibility to travelling musicians, producers, technicians and content creators who wish to power multiple devices from a USB battery or a compatible USB power supply, without having to use multiple cables or mains adaptors.
Compact and lightweight, the kit is easy to carry in a pedalboard bag, flight case or mobile studio bag. The various adaptors allow a single Ripcord to be quickly adapted to a wide range of equipment, which greatly simplifies setting up a rig.

The standard connector on Ripcord cables is 5.5 x 2.1 mm, which is natively compatible with around 90 per cent of the devices covered by the range. This set of seven adaptors extends this compatibility to nearly 99.99 per cent of power connectors encountered, according to myVolts, which often avoids the need to purchase several different Ripcord cables. The two adaptors featuring polarity reversal are particularly useful for certain vintage equipment or brands that use non-standard polarity.
