The Nedis WIFICDP31BK takes a different approach to the traditional video doorbell by integrating two cameras in a single housing. This configuration enables coverage of both the area in front of the door and the space on the floor where parcels are usually deposited. The two streams are merged into a single 4 megapixel image with an extended vertical field of view, providing a complete reading of the scene with no blind spots.

Operating on a rechargeable battery, the doorbell can be installed without any wiring constraints. With a capacity of 4,400 mAh, it can run for up to four months on the basis of ten or so daily activations. This freedom of installation is complemented by a direct connection to the Wi-Fi network, with no intermediate gateway, which simplifies commissioning.

When someone approaches or presses the doorbell, a notification is immediately sent to the smartphone. The USB chime supplied provides an audible alert at home, even when the phone is not within reach. It offers a wide choice of melodies and an adjustable volume to suit any environment. You can also use a Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa compatible device as an additional chime.

Surveillance is effective day and night, thanks to the choice of infrared night vision or colour night vision, activated by white LEDs. The motion detection zone can be precisely adjusted to limit unnecessary alarms. When an event occurs, recording starts automatically.

Two-way communication means you can communicate in real time with a visitor, delivery person or anyone who comes to the door, wherever you are. Videos can be stored locally on a microSD card up to 128 GB or backed up in the cloud via a subscription. Multi-user access allows several members of the household to view images and receive notifications simultaneously.
