Neewer - SF120Q

With its imposing 120cm diameter, the NEEWER SF120Q is aimed at photographers and videographers who are looking for a particularly wide, soft light source for portraits, fashion, advertising, interviews or high-end video productions. This size generates a more enveloping light, with gradual transitions between illuminated areas and shadows, while maintaining an excellent level of control.

Its deep parabolic structure improves the direction of the light beam and optimises the efficiency of the source used. The reflective silver interior distributes the light efficiently without altering colour temperature or colour fidelity. This luminous behaviour is particularly interesting for shots requiring a natural rendering of the skin or precise management of volumes.

The hexagonal design with 16 ribs helps to produce more natural circular reflections in the eyes or on reflective surfaces. The reinforced ribs also ensure that the lens will hold up well over time, even when used intensively in the studio or in repeated mobile set-ups.

The quick-release system allows the softbox to be deployed in seconds, without the need for complex assembly. This design simplifies configuration changes during filming or photo shoots. Once folded, the SF120Q can still be carried around in the bag provided, even though its large size is primarily intended for comfortable shooting spaces.

Two white diffusers are included for fine-tuning the desired level of softness. The inner diffuser makes the light more even, while the outer diffuser reduces harsh shadows and excessive glare. Depending on the desired effect, the two layers can be used together or separately.

The honeycomb grid supplied tightens the light beam around the subject to limit light spill into the background. This extra control is particularly useful for portraits, directional lighting or multi-camera studio set-ups.
