Presentation
The Neutrik NC3FX1-TOP is a 3-pin female XLR connector designed for outdoor audio installations. Open-air concerts, festivals, recordings or technical installations exposed to the elements: this model in the X-TOP series has been developed for this type of context. When combined with a connector from the same range, the whole assembly achieves IP65 protection, effectively protecting the connection against dust and splashing water.
Its design is based on robust materials suitable for intensive use. The die-cast zinc body with nickel-plated finish provides good resistance to repeated handling. The sealing parts use UV-resistant rubber, which prevents the connector from degrading when exposed to sunlight or the elements. Inside, bronze contacts with gold plating ensure stable signal transmission with very low contact resistance.
The latching system keeps the connection in place during use. Designed to last, it withstands more than 5,000 connection cycles. Compatible with cable diameters from 5 to 8 mm, and designed for solder cabling, the NC3FX1-TOP remains operational in a temperature range from -30 °C to +80 °C, making it suitable for professional outdoor audio installations.
