Plugs
The Neutrik NE8MX-B-1 is an etherCON connector holder designed to transform a conventional RJ45 into a robust, lockable network connection. Its metal shell protects the Ethernet plug and stabilises the link in stage, event or technical environments. Ideal for making stronger network cables from non-pre-assembled standard RJ45s.

Presentation
In many network installations used for entertainment, events or technical infrastructures, the traditional RJ45 connector remains a fragile point. The Neutrik NE8MX-B-1 is precisely the answer to this problem. This etherCON cable connector holder transforms a standard RJ45 into a much more robust connection, designed to withstand repeated handling and demanding environments.
Unlike a traditional network connector, this model provides a robust die-cast zinc metal shell that physically protects the RJ45 plug. This shell acts as a real armour around the connector, limiting the risk of breakage or accidental disconnection when the cables are subjected to stress on stage, in a control room or in a mobile technical installation.
The system is based on the etherCON design, renowned in the world of audio and events for its reliability. The Neutrik cable clamp (chuck-type strain relief) holds the cable firmly in place while reducing stress on the internal RJ45 connection. The connector then locks securely in place using the mechanism designed for the etherCON range, stabilising the network link.
The NE8MX-B-1 can be used with non-pre-assembled RJ45 cables, giving great freedom when building custom cables. It accepts cables from 3.5 to 8 mm in diameter, thanks to a tough, flexible polyamide boot that protects the cable outlet.
Important: this product is a connector support only. It does not include an RJ45 plug, which must be fitted by the user when assembling the cable.
