Presentation
The Numark Scratch is a two-channel DJ mixer designed for use with the included Serato DJ Pro software. The mixer features a built-in innoFADER crossfader, performance pads, a one-touch loop encoder and controls for triggering software effects. Also included is the Serato DVS expansion pack, allowing direct access to turntables or CD/media players, and control of Serato DJ Pro using optional Noisemap control vinyl or CDs.
Six FX buttons on the Numark Scratch provide quick access to a full range of effects, with controls for timing and intensity. These effects are triggered by a pair of sliders, while the one-touch loop encoder simplifies looping by pressing the encoder while rotating clockwise to extend the time, and rotating counterclockwise to shorten the loop.
The Numark Scratch Mixer delivers 32-bit fixed-point and 24-bit DSP digital sound quality, plus a dedicated high/low-pass filter that is software-agnostic, making it available at any time with any hardware, including vinyl records.
Each channel offers four pads for triggering hot cues, rolls, and samples. The rear panel offers stereo RCA inputs for each channel (switchable line/phono), stereo XLR master outputs, stereo RCA master outputs, and stereo RCA booth outputs. Also included is a combo XLR/jack mic input, with dedicated mic level control.
The Numark Scratch Mixer comes with a power cord, Prime Loop sound pack, and a 2-month subscription to SoundSwitch software.
