The NUX HIHAT 12 Control is the detection element for the hi-hat system on the DM-8 electronic drum kit. Attached directly to the Hi-Hat stand, it plays a central role in interpreting pedal movements, transmitting opening and closing information to the sound module.
This part works in conjunction with the HIHAT 12 Control pedal and the HIHAT 12 cymbal to ensure consistent, progressive hi-hat behaviour. It reproduces the variations in opening, intermediate positions and closed stops that are essential for realistic hi-hat playing on an electronic drum kit.
