The NUX NEK-110 is a keyboard that's easy to get to grips with, yet comprehensive enough to handle a wide range of situations. Its 61-key format makes it easy to carry around, while retaining a dynamic response that can be adjusted to suit your playing style.
The bank of 700 sounds covers the classic basics like pianos, strings and brass, as well as more modern synthetic textures. Access is fast, so you can move from one register to another without slowing down your playing.
Triple Voice mode lets you combine up to three sounds simultaneously. Each layer can be adjusted independently for volume and panning, opening up interesting possibilities for enriching an arrangement without the need for an external setup.
Built-in effects add variation without complicating use. Reverb, modulation or more pronounced effects such as rotary or lo-fi can be adjusted directly from the instrument. The 9 user memories let you save complete set-ups and recall them instantly.
The NEK-110 also features accompaniment functions with 100 styles and a live mode based on rhythm patterns. This makes it possible to work or play with a musical base without additional equipment.
As for connectivity, Bluetooth audio and MIDI make it easy to connect to a smartphone or tablet. USB means it can be used with DAW software, and audio inputs and outputs mean it can be integrated directly into an existing system. The rechargeable battery adds real freedom of use, without dependence on mains power.
