The Omnitronic XMT-1400 MK2 multimedia player and controller combines CD playback, USB media and SD cards in an interface designed for rapid access to content. Its jogdial, advanced search functions and multicolour VFD display make it easy to use. With shockproof RAM memory, ID3 tag management and effects inspired by analogue turntables, it's got some interesting tricks up its sleeve.

With CD, USB and SD(HC) compatibility, the XMT-1400 MK2 makes it easy to access different digital audio libraries without changing equipment. The display supports CD text as well as ID3 tags, allowing quick access to artist and title information during playback.
On the controls side, the touch-sensitive jogdial has several distinct modes including Pitch Bend, Scratch, Quick Search and Frame Shift. The presence of dedicated buttons completes the available controls, enabling playback to be fine-tuned. A reverse function and a braking effect inspired by analogue turntables also add to the control options.
For song management, the device features a 10-key numeric keypad for direct track selection. Folder navigation, fast forward and rewind controls and programming functions make it easy to organise long playlists. Several modes are available, including single track playback, continuous playback of all tracks, and repeat functions tailored to different broadcasting needs.
The playback section includes an instant start, cue function with pre-listening and a double loop and rewind function. The large backlit Play/Pause and Cue buttons are clearly identifiable. Speed level adjustment is available in 4 distinct ranges from ±4% to ±16%.
