The Orange AD200 isn't just a bass amp head - it's designed for demanding bassists, delivering 200 watts RMS of all-tube power for a warm, organic sound that enhances both deep lines and incisive grooves. With its single channel, the approach is deliberately uncluttered, favouring a direct connection between your playing and the sound, without artifice.
The combination of the ECC83/12AX7 and ECC81/12AT7 preamp tubes with the four 6556/KT88 power tubes produces a richly dynamic response. The result: solid bass, expressive midrange and controlled treble. Thanks to the 3-band equalizer and Gain and Master Volume controls, every nuance is adjustable, for a precise balance between clarity and natural saturation.
Designed to adapt to all configurations, the AD200 accepts both active and passive bass, and offers several connection options with its cabinet outputs (1x 8 Ohm or 2x 4 Ohm) as well as a slave output.
In terms of design, it reflects the Orange identity, with a vintage look in black, a robust chassis and British manufacturing that combines aesthetics with long-term reliability.
