The pre-cut intermediate foam provides a cleaner cut and more stable edges. This makes it possible to create precise slots for equipment requiring rigorous positioning, such as condenser microphones, sensitive electronic modules, sensors, small measuring instruments or compact optics.

The bottom foam absorbs the shocks associated with transport, while the honeycomb foam in the lid keeps the whole unit under light pressure. Thanks to the higher density, the equipment stays more securely in place, with less movement possible inside the case.

This type of foam is particularly suited to cases where the contents need to remain perfectly in place, such as when travelling frequently or when the equipment has a specific shape. It also retains its structure better over time, so the layout remains stable after several uses.
