The kit is made up of several layers of foam that structure the inside of the case without adding complexity. The bottom foam absorbs the stresses associated with transport, the pre-cut intermediate section can be used to create appropriate compartments, and the honeycomb foam on the lid holds the whole thing in place when closed.
This configuration makes it possible to prepare ready-to-use kits. For example, a set of microphones with their clips and cables, a camera kit with batteries and accessories, or technical equipment grouped by function. Each item is positioned in its own dedicated slot, so there's no need for unnecessary handling.
