It is designed for cable manufacturing and is therefore fitted to specified lengths, rather than being used with ready-made cables. The 3-pin CEE 16 A standard is used in commercial electrical installations. The blue colour makes it easy to spot amongst other connectors. Weighing 140 g, the connector fits comfortably in the hand.
PC Electric, an Austrian company based in St. Martin im Innkreis, develops its own tools and production solutions. Around 80 per cent of its output is exported, and its catalogue includes plugs, connectors, distribution boards and CEE enclosures.
