Presentation
The Pearl BDP2816-122 bass drum combines a 4-ply maple body with 1.5" hoops to produce deep bass and rich tone across the entire range. The wood plies are carefully assembled and saturated with a special adhesive before being pressed at high temperature to ensure even resonance and maximum durability.
The 45-degree cut edges ensure optimum contact between the skin and the barrel, resulting in a sound that is both powerful and precise. 3 strategically placed vents facilitate air evacuation and improve sound projection. The Black Mist finish adds a sober, professional elegance, while the aluminium alloy material maintains stable tension without weighing the instrument down.
Rubber-coated grips protect the skin and allow the snare drum to vibrate freely for a natural sound. Compatible with MX T-Frame and CX Airframe carriers, it offers easy adjustment for field positioning.
