The 16x14" Pearl Competitor CMB1614NC-33 bass drum is part of the CMB series, designed for marching percussion. Its 6-ply poplar and kapur body is manufactured using Pearl's SST technology, which ensures a regular, resistant structure. This combination of woods gives a good midrange presence and, above all, a full, well-projected bass.

The 45-degree chamfers help to improve air circulation and ensure efficient volume. To help achieve this, 6 vents have been precisely positioned to accelerate airflow. This improves response under the strike and reinforces forward projection. Despite this power, the bass drum remains relatively light, making it easy to move around and enjoy long playing sessions.

The die-cast zinc tension shells withstand modern, repeated tuning with ease. The reinforced claws distribute the tension evenly around the rim. The 1.5" 6-ply maple hoops ensure a reliable hold and stable tuning. All the fittings are designed to withstand intensive use, both outdoors and on repeat. The Pure White finish provides a clean, classic visual identity in the field.
