Presentation
The Pearl Decade Maple DMP1414FC-207 14" x 14" bass tom reflects Pearl's expertise in the manufacture of maple drums. Its compact size allows you to get a deep bass without overwhelming the whole kit.
The EvenPly-Six maple barrel promotes a direct, even response. This construction helps to maintain good readability, even at sustained volume. The 45° edges make for easy tuning and smooth sustain. The maple adds an appreciable warmth, while retaining a strong attack.
This bass tom is just as suited to rock as it is to more nuanced styles. It can be used as a main tom or to complement a 16". The dynamics remain balanced under the sticks, making it even more comfortable to play. Its construction inspires confidence for regular use. Finally, the Ultramarine Velvet finish adds a modern visual touch.
