The agogô or gongué is a musical instrument of African origin. It is an idiophone percussion instrument consisting of one or more bells made of wood or metal (not beating), connected together, and beaten by means of a wand.

Its name comes from AKOKO in Nago language, which means the clock or time: a tool originally used to mark the tempo. It is found in Brazil and everywhere where African slaves were brought.

He is also now part of modern accessories thanks to its battery beep which easily dominates and leads the other musical instruments, and provides an easily audible benchmark.
